I'm Jon Larrazabal. Before I picked up a camera professionally, I spent 10 years as an engineer in luxury packaging, including three as Director of Engineering. My work shaped the packaging for NARS, Christian Louboutin, Shiseido, Assouline, and Liberty London.
In that world, the outside determined whether anyone ever discovered the inside. Perception wasn't vanity. It was strategy.
Photography has been part of my life for 17 years. Eclipse Headshots is where both halves meet.
What engineering has to do with photography
Most photo sessions run on hope. You show up, someone points a camera at you, and you hope a few frames turn out. That is not a process. It is a gamble.
I don’t run sessions that way. Every session starts with a consultation call where I map out exactly what you need before the camera comes out. The lighting is calibrated. The framing is planned. The expression coaching is built into every frame.
The result is predictable because the process is repeatable. You know what you are getting before you leave.
